Royal Provenance: Dutch Delft and Queen Mary
The ‘Greek A’ Factory of Adrianus Kocks, Delft, circa 1692, diameter 48cm., discovered by Michael Mays.
This unique pair of bowls were designed by the celebrated French emigre Daniel Marot and incorporated landscape vignettes after Abraham Bloemart. They were commissioned by Queen Mary who intended to build an ornamental dairy at Hampton Court Palace furnished with silver and tin glazed earthenwares.
We were instrumental in arranging the loan of the pans to Hampton Court Palace.
